Spotify Kids closed in 2024, and the apps people moved to differ in one respect that matters more than the catalog size: who decides what plays next.
Most kids' audio apps answer that with a recommendation engine. A child finishes an episode and something else begins — chosen by the app, not by you. For some families that's fine. For others it's the entire reason they went looking for a replacement.
